FAQs Regarding Special Summary Revision-2022

Ans. The Election Commission of India conducts Special Summary Revision to enroll unenrolled eligible citizens during the month of Oct-Nov every year. This year the Special Summary Revision of electoral rolls with reference to January 01, 2022 as qualifying date, will start from 01.11.2021.
Ans. In this SSR following activities will be completed:
  1. Publication of Integrated draft electoral roll.
  2. Filing forms for inclusion/ correction/ deletion of names in electoral roll of NCT of Delhi.
  3. Final publication of electoral roll after disposal of Forms.
Ans. All eligible Indian citizens who have completed or will be completing age of 18 on or before 01.01.2022 .
Ans. Draft roll will be published on 01.11.2021 at all polling station locations and also on the website of CEO, Delhi i.e. www.ceodelhi.gov.in . You can find your polling station by downloading Voter Helpline app, www.nvsp.in or www.voterportal.eci.gov.in. or by calling 1950.
Ans. In this SSR citizens can file all type of forms (form 6, 6A, 7, 8, 8A) from 01.Nov.2021 to 30.Nov.2021.
Ans. There are following type of forms :-

Form 6 – Application for new enrollment or migration from one AC to another AC.

Form 6A – for enrollment of overseas electors.

Form 7 – Application for objecting inclusion or seeking deletion of name in Electoral Roll.

Form 8 – Application for correction to particulars entered in electoral roll or replacement of photograph.

Form 8A- Application for transposition of entry or transfer of one’s name from one part to another part of electoral roll of the same constituency.

Ans. One recent passport size coloured photograph, duly affixed in the box given for the purpose in Form 6 and photo-copies of documentary proof of age and residence are required to be enclosed with Form 6. The list of documentary proof of residence which can be enclosed with Form 6 is given below:- Indian Passport
Driving License
Bank/Kisan/ Post office current pass book
Ration Card
Income Tax Assessment order
Rent Agreement
Water Bill
Telephone Bill
Electricity Bill

The list of documentary proof of age which can be enclosed with Form 6 is given below:-
Aadhar card
Birth Certificte
Marksheet of class 10 of 8 or 5
Indian Passport
PAN Card
Driving License
Baptism Certificate

Ans.
  1. Download Voter Helpline app in your mobile for all electoral Services.
  2. Visit at www.ceodelhi.gov.in or www.nvsp.in or www.voterportal.eci.gov.in
  3. Offline mode - submit duly filled in form-6 along with requisite documents at Voter Centre of your Assembly Constituency or at nearest Common Service Centres (CSCs). List of Voter Centres & Common Service Centres (CSCs) is available onwww.nvsp.in.
Ans. With the help of electronic reference number of submitted forms status of the application can be checked at National Voter Service Portal www.nvsp.in (Track application status), www.voterportal.eci.gov.in or Voter Helpline App
Ans. 6 Nov 2021 (Saturday), 7 Nov 2021 (Sunday) , 27 Nov 2021 (Saturday) and 28 Nov 2021 (Sunday) are special camp dates at your polling station where your area BLO will remain available for your help.
Ans. EPIC to the newly enrolled electors during the SSR will be delivered through speed post at registered address after publication of final electoral roll.
Ans. Final roll of this SSR will be published on 05.01.2022 at all polling stations and also on the website of CEO, Delhi i.e. www.ceodelhi.gov.in.

  1. Through SMS: Send SMS EPICvoter ID No. to 7738299899 or ECIvoter ID No. to 1950
  2. Online: At website of CEO Delhi www.ceodelhi.gov.in or national Voter’s Service Portal www.nvsp.in or Voter Portal www.voterportal.eci.gov.in
All electors should check their names in electoral roll frequently as mere holding of possession of Elector photo identity card is no guarantee of name being present in electoral roll.
Ans. No, A person cannot be enrolled as a voter at more than one place in view of the provisions contained in Sections 17 and 18 of Representation of People Act, 1950. Likewise, no person can be enrolled as an elector more than once in any electoral roll. Any person while applying for fresh enrolment, makes a statement or declaration whether his / her name is already included in the electoral roll of any other constituency, and if such statement/declaration is false and which the applicant either knows or believes to be false or does not believe to be true, he is liable to be punished under section 31 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950.
Ans. During the period of special summary revision, you can file an appeal to the District Election Officer.
