Applying for enrollment as an Overseas Voter, i.e. a person who is a citizen of India and who has not acquired the citizenship of any other country and is otherwise eligible to be registered as a voter and who is absent from his place of ordinary residence in India owing to his employment, education or otherwise is eligible to be registered as a voter in the constituency in which his place of residence in India (as mentioned in his Passport) is located. For further details please see FAQs on “Overseas Voters” on this website. एक प्रवासी मतदाता के रूप में नामांकन के लिए आवेदन करना, अर्थात वह व्यक्ति जो भारत का नागरिक है और जिसने किसी अन्य देश की नागरिकता नहीं ली है अन्यथा मतदाता के रूप में पंजीकृत होने के योग्य है तथा वह अपने रोजगार, शिक्षा या अन्यथा के कारण भारत में अपने सामान्य निवास स्थान से अनुपस्थित है। भारत में स्थित उसके निवास स्थान (जैसा कि उसके पासपोर्ट में उल्लिखित है) के निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में मतदाता के रूप में पंजीकृत होने के लिए पात्र है। अधिक जानकारी के लिए कृपया इस वेबसाइट “प्रवासी मतदाता“ पर अक्सर पूछे जाने वाले प्रश्न देखें। |
